About the Performance

Director Ivan Uryvskyi reimagines the classic story by Hryhorii Kvitka-Osnovianenko through the lens of the present day.
Premiered in 2023 during the war in Kyiv, the play became an artistic manifesto of the new Ukrainian theatre. Now this performance appears on stage in Holstebro.
