Over the past two and a half years, audiences, musicians, and promoters have started evaluating concerts based on several not-so-usual criteria.

First and foremost (yes!), it’s still about how the band plays, how Andriy Khlyvniuk sings, whether the band still has that rock ‘n’ roll magic, or if it’s time to hang it up. Equally important is what Andriy says on stage. And believe me, he’s never at a loss for words. Fans of Vakhtyory might be better off staying home—don’t say we didn’t warn you.

Another crucial factor is how much money the band raises, what it’s spent on, and how they report it. And perhaps the hardest part—something the public doesn’t often see—is balancing ticket prices so as not to bankrupt the audience, while still allowing the promoter to make a living and ensuring the musicians don’t come across as a bunch of slackers dreaming about lounging on a beach instead of serving and working.

Let’s assume you’ve convinced Khlyvniuk to write a leave request (no more than once every 3-4 months), purchased €140,000 worth of drones, Mavics, FPVs, Starlinks, generators, and more from the previous tour, and negotiated (and renegotiated) the next stage of the Drone Tour. Who are you? You’re awesome. Like our tour director, the molfar from Rusanivka, Volodya Havayets. He’s the one who carefully selected the cities for Boombox’s spring tour.

We’ll be visiting eight countries, playing 14 concerts (maybe even more), all between March and April. A lot depends on how you buy tickets, believe me. And it’s not about the producer’s new car but about the needs of the guys and girls holding the enemy at bay.

It feels strange to follow that up with what will happen during the tour concerts, but here you go: expect Firtka, Kalyna, Naodintsi, Kvity v Volossi, Polina, Pravda, Tviy na 100%, Trymay Mene, and another 12-14 songs. There will also be an auction. And merch. Jealous already?

Please come.
