Over the past two and a half years, audiences, musicians, and organizers have started evaluating concerts by some unusual criteria.
First of all (yes!), it’s still important how the band performs, how Andriy Khlyvnyuk sings, whether that same rock-and-roll charm is still there, or if perhaps it’s time to call it a day. Equally important is what Andriy says from the stage. And believe me, he’s never short on words. Fans of “Вахтьори” might want to stay home—don’t say you weren’t warned.
Another critical factor is how much money the band raises, where those funds go, and how transparently they report on it. And probably the trickiest part—something the audience often doesn’t see—is balancing ticket prices. To avoid bankrupting listeners, give the organizer a chance to earn, and ensure the musicians receive fair compensation, because they’re working, not dreaming about beach vacations.
Imagine convincing Khlyvnyuk to file for a vacation (no more than once every 3-4 months), purchasing drones, Mavic, FPV, Starlink, generators, and other gear worth €140,000 after the last tour, and organizing (and re-organizing) the next stage of Drone Tour. Who are you? You’re incredible. Like our tour manager, a molfar from Rusanivka, Volodya Havayets. He carefully selected the cities for Бумбокс’s spring tour.
We’ll visit eight countries and play 14 concerts (or maybe more) from March to April. Much depends on how you buy tickets, trust me. And this isn’t about a new car for the producer, but about meeting the needs of the men and women holding the enemy at bay.
It feels odd to transition from that to what will happen during the concerts, but here you go: expect “Фіртка,” “Калина,” “Наодинці,” “Квіти в волоссі,” “Поліна,” “Правда,” “Твій на 100%,” “Тримай мене”, and another 12-14 songs. There will also be an auction. And merch. Feeling envious already?
Please come.
